# Paystack

> Paystack is US payment infrastructure by Codelucent Technologies, LLC. One REST
> API for ACH payment processing (same-day, next-day, standard), credit and debit
> card processing, instant payouts (RTP, FedNow, push-to-card), and custodial
> escrow. The same endpoints are exposed over the Model Context Protocol, so an
> autonomous AI agent can move money under hard spending caps.

## Rate card (authoritative)

- Platform fee: $250/month, fixed. Never discounted or offset by volume.
- Inbound ACH pull (collections/debits): $0.75 flat per transaction.
- Standard ACH payout (1-3 business days): $0.75 flat per transfer.
- Same-day ACH payout: $1.50 flat per transfer.
- Instant payout via RTP, FedNow, or push-to-card: 0.95% per transfer, capped at $10.00.
- Card acceptance: interchange + 2.00% + $0.30. Interchange is passed through at network cost.
- Instant bank account validation: $2.00 per attempt.
- Account activation (KYB/KYC): $50.00 one time.
- ACH return / NSF remediation: $25.00 per return, no markup on the network penalty.

There is no surcharge for AI-initiated transactions and no percentage fee on
custodial escrow.

## Key facts

- ACH pricing is flat, not a percentage: a $50,000 ACH collection costs $0.75.
- Same-day ACH settles the same business day if submitted before the window cutoff; the NACHA per-transfer limit is $1,000,000.
- Next-day ACH settles the next business day. Standard ACH settles in 1-3 business days.
- RTP and FedNow settle in seconds, 24/7/365, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Funds land in a custody wallet the platform controls, and are only disbursed on an explicit release — which is what makes an agent-initiated payment reversible before settlement.
- Controls: per-workspace per-transaction, daily, and monthly agent spending caps, velocity limits, and cooldowns, per-counterparty blocklists, an immutable audit record, and one operator kill switch over all pending movement.
- Webhooks are HMAC-SHA256 signed and replayable. Every transfer carries a caller-supplied correlation_id, returned untouched for reconciliation.
